In a town in Texas, at the request of his pastor, a young associate pastor named Jim Raybrun began showing young people how much God cares about them by showing up in their world and sharing the message of God's love through Jesus in ways and words they could understand and relate to.

I grew up in Bellville and my life was forever changed by hearing about Jesus through Young Life. After 2 years of coaching and teaching at Bellville Jr. High, I decided to come on Young Life staff full time. It's been truly amazing to see Jesus still using this ministry to change lives like he did for me in 2007.

I came to know Jesus at Young Life camp when I was in high school. Over the summers of 2021 and 2022, I interned with Bellville YL and realized I wanted to help high schoolers have the same experience that I did in 2016! I began Young Life staff in College Station in 2022 but Bellville always had a special place in my heart. I came back in January 2025 and have been loving every minute of it!
